Develop Your Business

Whether you like it or not, a great business starts with the business owner.  Happy, productive teams generally are guided by who is running or owning the ship.  When you, as a business owner are truly confident and comfortable with yourself and the team around you, your business will survive and thrive.  Gaining clarity around why you are in business; what you want to achieve and how are you hoping to grow, will then create the structure around how you are wanting to work.

We work with you using a proven four step system that will clearly identify the “gaps” in your business, and to develop strategies for your vision of your business.

A memorable, remarkable Client Journey will set you apart from your “competitors”.  From the very first touch point of the phone call or email enquiry, the flow, the care and the conversations to be had must be knowledgeable , understandable and able to be duplicated by the team.  Everyone on the same page, singing the same song.  Having the language for great communication is a skill that is taught; very rarely is it inherent.

When you better understand yourself, you are better able to understand those around you.  This awareness allows you to communicate with your team and your clients in a way that is far more effective and with greater understanding.  As a consequence of this greater level of communication, increased productivity and profitability will flow.

Your team is your biggest  and generally your greatest expense.  They are also your greatest asset.  Having an awesome team leaves you to have more faith in their abilities, gives them more confidence in what and how they do what they do, which gives you the flexibility to take time away from your business knowing that your team really does knows what they are doing.

Mentoring

Isn’t it great to have someone that you can run things by, ask the questions that need to be asked, when they need to be asked?  Mentoring is holding you accountable to yourself and the promises you make to you.  Mentoring is an on-going commitment to gain insights into yourself and challenge your perceptions.

Behaviour profiling helps you better understand yourself, your team and even your clients.  As well as your individual profile, we can also create a team profile for your business, a pairs profile and even a couples profile that will clearly delve into who you are and why you do what you do and more importantly how you can adapt when needed.

Communication

Have you had a conversation with someone and you – or they – had no idea what was being said?  Can you recall a time when you tried to assist someone only to have your efforts backfire?  It was most likely because you were not “speaking their language” – not talking how they needed to hear.  We don’t communicate with our words or speech, we actually communicate with our minds.  What does this mean?  What we hear is based on the filters of our experiences – the more limited our experiences, the narrower our understanding, the wider and more accepting of our filters, the greater is our ability to communicate and understand others.

Language and how we use it is vital to relating to your team and your clients.  Simple strategies create big impact.

Scripts allow you and your team to clear space for more complex and involved processes and procedures, which helps you stay engaged and involved in what you are doing.

Relationships

“No man is an island…”  says John Donne.  We all need people, some more than others.  The relationship we have with others is pivotal in how we live our lives.  Just as important is the relationship we have with ourselves.  What are the conversations we have with ourselves?  Are they supportive, championing and encouraging?  Or are they full of self-sabotage and procrastination and self-doubt?  What is more supportive and resourceful?  Who is your “fat bastard” and how are they helping you become the best version of yourself you can be?  Having a Coach that is committed to your best self will help you clear blockages and develop tools to live your best life.

Effective Change

It is a fact of life that change is inevitable.  Doesn’t mean that we handle it all that well.  How and why this change is introduced into a business can determine the success or otherwise of what you are trying to achieve.  By knowing your team and how they cope with change will greatly assist you convey your new vision for your business to your team and also your clients.  Change is important, change is inevitable so why not make that change as seamless and straightforward as possible.

Crisis Management

It is a terrible thing when something goes wrong in your business. Whether this is the death of a much loved team member, a serious illness or an incident that involves a client, how you respond immediately is crucial to maintaining balance, emotional strength and support for you, your team and your clients.
